ABOUT ME

Hi there!

I’m Chris and I’ve been working on my voice for just over 4 years. What I have learned along the way has absolutely blown my mind and is why I am building the NSI Studio educational platform.

A quick overview of how I got here:

  • I was told at 9 years old that I was tone deaf (turns out I’m not), which I believed until I was 30 (I’m 38 now).

  • I have always loved to sing, but was always emphatically “encouraged” to keep it entirely to myself so I did.

  • Following a Spinal Fusion surgery in 2021, I found while building an educational World of Warcraft YouTube channel that as my spinal posture improved so did my voiceovers.

  • This improvement made me begin researching the connection between posture and voice.

  • This research has led me to currently be: writing an intro book to Posture and Voice, writing my first original album, and building a cover song setlist for solo performance live streams.

My experience has taught me that there are so many ways to approach improving the voice that I believe truly ANYONE can improve their voice. How your voice sounds/works now is just the CURRENT iteration of your voice and can always be improved upon. What my approach excels at is analyzing the underlying causes behind how the voice currently behaves, allowing for more effective forward progress. I have been able to correct my fundamental grip over my spine/posture which has led to direct control over my voice.

Thank you so much for dropping by NSI Studio. Check out the Chapter Preview PDF/Audiobook that I have for sale, and be sure to sign up for my email list to get notified when I release new Educational NSI Studio Material and new Original Music.
